About Faye…
Helping people slow down, notice beauty, and preserve life's little moments through tiny paintings
My Story
For a long time, I thought painting was simply about creating beautiful pictures.
But over the past year, I've realised it's something much deeper.
Painting has taught me to slow down.
To notice the light filtering through the trees, the winding path across a meadow, or the quiet reflections on a still lake.
Those moments might otherwise pass unnoticed.
Today, every tiny painting I create is a way of preserving a memory, a feeling, or a place.
Together they become my Tiny Visual Diary.
And my hope is that they inspire you to create your own.
My Philosophy
I don't believe painting is about perfection.
I believe it's about paying attention.
When we paint, we begin to notice things we might otherwise miss—the colours in a cloudy sky, the shape of an old oak tree, or the quiet beauty of a path disappearing into the distance.
Painting encourages us to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the world around us.
Every tiny painting becomes more than a piece of art.
It becomes a memory.
A moment.
A story.
A page in your own Tiny Visual Diary.
“Painting isn’t just about creating art. It’s about learning to notice the beauty that was there all along.”
